Ah! Lessons learned from the past.... are soon forgotten it seems.

Anyone who has an even rudimentary understanding of biology can tell you that biodiversity is rule #1 and can never be broken.

But in our zeal to provide more shelf stable products that can be shipped thousands of miles, we have forgotten the dangers of relying on 1 or 2 varieties of a ever smaller and smaller assortment of crops.

Irish Potato Famine..... need I say more?
